Pack of 10 with envelopes
This beautiful pack of notelets contains two sets of five paintings taken from the decoration around the High Altar in the Shrine Church at Walsingham. The church was built in 1937 as part of the restoration by A.H. Patten of this historic place of pilgrimage.
The artist Enid Chadwick (1902-87) spent fifty years of her life in Walsingham. She used her unique skills to create the distinctive style of wall-painting which can be seen throughout the Shrine. Chadwick worked closely with Fr Patten, the restorer of the Shrine of Our Lady, in creating these spectacular pieces of art.
