Card – Tranquillity

Kingfishers have often been spotted hunting around Sheepwash Pond at Hatchlands Park in Surrey, hoping to find a suitable habitat to excavate their nest burrows. The National Trust is building a secluded nesting bank for them as part of a pond restoration project, encouraging these beautiful birds to make it their permanent home.
