This image of the Angels of Music is reproduced from the Mary Magdalene window in the church of St Michael and Mary Magdalene in Easthamhead, Bracknell. It was made by the William Morris Company. Craftsmen and artists working for this firm were at the forefront of the Arts & Crafts Movement in England in the 19th century.
This stained glass window was designed by Edward Burne-Jones, a painter associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Movement. Burne-Jones was involved in the rejuvination of the stained glass making tradition in Victorian England.
