Window Cling – Art Nouveau Poppies
Art Nouveau was a new style in visual arts and architecture which flourished in Europe and North America at the end of the 19th century (1890-1914). It was a reaction to Academic Art of that era and to machine-made, mass produced goods of the industrial revolution. Art Nouveau artists applied the highest standards of craftsmanship to creation of everyday objects.
Floral motifs and highly stylised flowing forms are the main features of Art Nouveau style.
